The mission of Carter G. Woodson Public Charter School is to provide an education to students who are most in need and otherwise have been unsuccessful in school by establishing adequate resources both during school and in the after school program for children to succeed. Our focus on core academics, vocational training, technology, leadership, and parenting skills ensures the success of young families in becoming educated, self-sufficient, and economically independent. Accepting students from grades 7th - 12th, Carter G. Woodson's dedication to helping students succeed is accomplished by providing the following: ¥ Vocational Training programs with an emphasis on Technology, business and School-to-Career learning for students 13 - 18 years of age. |
