Agape's History
Agape`, Incorporated is a California non-profit, public benefit corporation with tax exempt status under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). The organization’s mission is to provide resources to those most in need along with a commitment to the progress of youth and families in the community. Agape’s founders intend to fulfill that commitment by designing and implementing needed resources and services that reduce and/or eliminate obstacles preventing progress.
Agape` has identified various risk factors through research and previous program development. As such, Agape` serves as an innovator for providing services to youth and families, which increases their likelihood of becoming resilient, productive, prosperous, self-reliant and successful members of their community. Success will be reached through the following organizational principles:
» Outreach and collaboration with community organizations, and districts
» Visible and accessible programs that provide a continuum of services
» High quality educational options for students K-12 to post secondary
» Flexibility and innovation inside and outside the classroom
» Performing civic duties and promoting social change
» Valid research and evaluation of services
Our Services
There are currently four educational programs we offer. We are continually working to expand our educational offerings to reach more students in a unique and creative way.
