Mission of W.E.B. DuBois

The mission of W.E.B. DuBois is to provide an education to youth and families by establishing adequate resources for children to succeed. Our focus on core academics, vocational training, technology, leadership and parenting skills ensures the success of young families in becoming educated, self- sufficient, and economically independent.

W.E.B. DuBois Public Charter School is designed to target children and young adults who have not been successful in school and will benefit from an interactive, family like learning atmosphere to reclaim their education toward a high school diploma. Our school will provide mental health counseling, parenting education, vocational training, and the development of a higher education plan to enhance each youth’s stability and help them to become assets in their communities.

Welcome to a New School Year!

Classes began August 16 for the 2011-2012 school year. Be sure to register your student now to reserve a place. W.E.B. DuBois accepts 9th-12th grade students, and is enrolling now. You can register by visiting the campus office at 1313 P St. Please direct any questions or waiting list inquiries to our office phone by calling (559) 486-1166. Office hours are 8am-5pm.
